Eat cake for breakfast.

Insta-weekend Recap:

This post has absolutely nothing to do with the super dope tee by Kate Spade.  It’s more about how my husband decided that baking a chocolate fudge cake was a fantastic idea Friday evening.  It was so delicious.

Here’s the thing about my husband’s cooking.  Everything he makes is beyond delicious.  He’s seriously talented in the kitchen.  The kind of cook that can make something amazing out of almost nothing at all.  So naturally, you can’t help but devour everything he puts in front of you.  Hence, the title of today’s post…That chocolate cake haunted my dreams.  Every morning I woke up craving that creamy, moist, delicious chocolate cake.  And you know what? I gave in.  Both Saturday and Sunday morning I had cake for breakfast.  I don’t regret a single morsel of it.  Because days are more fun when you start them with chocolate cake.

Here’s to a healthier week, my peeps!

My husband loves when I decorate his nightstand with pretty little things.

My ace, my love, my heart...my world!

They say he's vicious. The only mean mug here is me...I wasn't prepared for all his kisses. #pitbulllove

Sometimes I feel like a gangster.

I'm one lucky girl.  He's so handsome.

  2. Sounds (and looks!) like a wonderful weekend :) My husband can also do some serious baking when the mood strikes him! The last thing he made was a maple drizzled caramel coffee cake. It was SO good! We're lucky ladies :)

    1. Oh, that sounds divine. We are lucky girls but my hips would be much slimmer if he settled down a bit. Lol

    1. There's no shame in marrying man that can cook. It just means we know how to pick em. Thanks for visiting!
