Playful

I have been in complete hibernation mode lately. What I mean by this is that I haven’t been going out on the weekends.  I have been staying home and going to bed relatively early on the weekends.  Let me tell you, I feel great! After a very eventful summer season my body craved some TLC.  I desperately needed a recovery period so that is exactly what I have been doing the past few weekends and I feel great because of it. My weekends have consisted of school, cleaning/organizing my house, preparing for the upcoming Billy’s Gift event, and exercise.  When Monday morning rolls around, I feel refreshed and ready for the week.  I hope all of you have had the same Monday morning experience! ;)

I’m skipping out on Adoration Monday.  It’s not because I don’t adore anyone but because I have been so busy that I haven’t had time to brainstorm my adorations. I am sorry to disappoint anyone that was anxious for today’s nomination.

I wanted to share with you my super playful peplum top that I wore last week.  The peplum obsession right now is one of my favorite trends in shirts.  The cut of the shirt is very flattering for my body shape.  I love that it emphasizes my waist.  I found this playful top at my favorite store, Target.  It was like it was made especially for me. I am polka dot crazy and I love zippers!  Since the shirt was so fun, I decided to pair it with a pair of black slacks and a simple necklace.  I love this shirt!!!
